I thought that Lilly May's lecture was really interesting to listen to. I liked getting a closer look into an art style that is very common but pretty untraditional. I thought it was really interesting to think about how you have to make multiple smaller pieces that come together to tell a story. I also liked hearing about their experiences with art school, and their honest opinions about how it worked for them. Something else that really stood out to me was their emphasis on making sure you have enough rest while still doing something that you love. I think it is very important to do things in moderation if you want to continue to love them. Overall I just really appreciated Lilly's honesty and transparency about their experiences in high school, art school, and in their work now. They have a really unique drawing style and a great use of color that makes their pieces really interesting to look at.

I thought this was a great last lunchtime lecture of the year, as it is one of my favorites that we have hosted! I especially enjoyed...
