Figure Drawing Blog Post

Throughout this past session of figure drawing, I have noticed significant improvement in my skills, especially in movement, composition, and proportion. Although figure drawing is still not my favorite, I feel that the fundamental rules have helped me to improve my own work. The most important thing that I have taken away from these few weeks of figure drawing practice every year is the importance of patience and persistence. My drawings often don't turn out the way I would like them to, especially since figure drawing is not my area of expertise. I have learned to keep trying and working to improve as much as I can, even when I may not enjoy the process or result. These are important qualities that I have learned to translate into my own work over time.
